Iowa Courts eFiling, simplified.
Authorized automation that uses your firm-owned Iowa Courts eFiling account to search cases, capture notifications, download documents, rename files, and deliver organized records to Dropbox.
Tools for your firm's Iowa Courts eFiling workflow.
Stillroot does not provide court access. It helps authorized users operate the accounts and workflows their firm already controls.
Case Search and Current Lists
Run authorized single-case searches or shared current-list runs through your firm-owned Iowa Courts eFiling account.
Document Download and Renaming
Case documents are downloaded, named consistently, and delivered straight to Dropbox so staff are not stuck saving and renaming files by hand.
Notification Capture
Notification runs help preserve eFile documents that may be difficult to locate later if they do not appear cleanly on the official docket.
Secure by Design
Your EDMS credentials never touch our servers. Each firm runs their own isolated infrastructure. Full audit logging on every action.
Guided setup, then faster daily runs.
We help configure the workflow once, then your own worker service performs authorized actions through your firm's Iowa Courts eFiling account.
Set up your service
Your firm runs the worker services in your own Render account. Your Iowa Courts eFiling credentials stay there - we never see them.
Connect your Dropbox
One click to authorize. We never see your Dropbox password - just a secure token so we can deliver files to your account.
Search a case
Run a single case search or a personal/team current list. Your service logs in with your firm-owned account and performs the search.
Organized files in Dropbox
Case and notification documents are downloaded, named consistently, and delivered to your Dropbox folder.

Frequently asked questions
Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out and we'll get back to you.
How do you handle my EDMS credentials?
We don't. Your Iowa Courts eFiling login credentials are stored on your own Render service — our servers never see them. Your firm remains responsible for making sure use of the account is authorized and consistent with court rules.
What is Render and why do I need it?
Render is a cloud hosting platform. Each firm has their own Render account running the case search service. This keeps your EDMS credentials isolated and under your control. We provide step-by-step setup instructions.
Why does it need access to my Dropbox?
When you run case-search or notification jobs, the downloaded documents need a firm-controlled destination. Dropbox is a familiar, easy-to-use place. You authorize once with a button click and documents land in your Dropbox folder automatically.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No long-term commitment is required for the standard plan. The subscription is month-to-month. Your Render account and Dropbox account are yours and remain under your control.
Can multiple people in my firm use it?
Yes. Team access is included. Each person logs in with their own account but can share the firm's tools, Dropbox connection, activity history, and team current list.
What Iowa courts are supported?
The tools operate through your authorized Iowa Courts eFiling account. Availability depends on what that account is permitted to access and what the court system makes available.
